Federal Republic of Germany Visits Technopark

 

Thomas Matussek, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany and Rolf Saligmann, Consul General of FRG in Bangalore visited TECHNOPARK, Trivandrum. They were received at the Park Centre by Technopark CEO Mr Mervin Alexander.H.E. Thomas Matussek spoke high about the infrastructure facilities available in TECHNOPARK and said Kerala is known for its tourism attractiveness and I give my complete assurance that I will try and bring Kerala into limelight and to the official IT business map of Germany. During my meeting with Honble Chief Minister of Kerala, I invited him to visit Germany to try and encourage a proper matchmaking between German IT companies and Technopark based IT companies for the growth of Indo-German IT business. I have had a truly impressive modern technology experience here and I see a great scope for future co-operation between Germany states and Kerala.

The Ambassador also promised that he will talk to the Bavarian State to consider Kerala and Technopark as a potential partner to do business and added that he is determined to visit Kerala at least once a year to provide maximum support for the growth of Indo-German business. In his address, His Excellency the Consul General of the FRG Rolf Salgimann mentioned that he will try and help Technopark companies in obtaining necessary business visas in case of any problems faced.

Group of Technopark Companies and Technopark organized an interactive session with the dignitaries, where CEOs of 20 Technopark companies participated. Mr. Mervin Alexander, CEO, Technopark welcomed the dignitaries and said, This is the first visit by H.E. Thomas Matussek outside New Delhi and it shows the importance that Germany is giving to Kerala as one of the promising IT investment destinations.
