The process of allocating space in Athulya, the newly set up information technology building at Infopark Kochi, will commence from April this year.
Situated on 7.1 acres, Athulya has a total built-up area of 550,000 square feet and can house a software development block (with an area of 350,000 sft), cafeteria and a multi-level car parking facility. The total seating capacity of the building is 4,000.
“We have already received interests from well-known IT/ITeS companies,” said Ajay Kumar, principal secretary, IT department.
The new complex has been designed as an energy efficient building. The facilities planned in the building include preventive maintenance with 24x7 back-up, large and efficient floor plate with design flexibility, uninterrupted power supply, effective housekeeping facility, security and water treatment system.
IT firms setting up offices at Athulya will have SEZ facilities. "We have announced a pre-launch offer of Rs 25 a sqft and expect the entire space to be sold out soon. Some IT/ITES companies have already approached us for booking space and are in the process of setting up their units at Athulya," said Infopark CEO Siddhartha Bhattacharya

Athulya will also have facilities like incubation centres and training rooms, a direct four-lane connectivity road and 10 elevators. The multi-level parking can accommodate 111 cars, Kumar said. |
