Toonz Animation India is a full service, state of the art animation facility and production company. The studio was set up to meet the global demand for quality, cost effective animation services, television programs, commercials and feature films. Opened in the fall of 1999, Toonz Animation India occupies more than 18,000 sq ft of space inside the Thiruvananthapuram Technopark with a staff of around 500 Indian and international artists. In 2002, Toonz figured among the’ Top Ten Studios in the world to be watched' by the Animation Magazine. As one of Asia’s foremost studios Toonz offers a full range of production services including animation pre production, design, color modeling, key back grounds, key layouts, animation, clean up, in betweens, compositing, editing and digital ink and paint systems. Toonz's client list includes the biggest names in media and entertainment like Marvel, Hallmark, Paramount, Disney, Cartoon Network etc. Toonz prides itself in constantly keeping abreast with technological advancements as well as quality standards and hence has emerged as the preferred one stop studio for entertainment majors. Toonz is also making significant inroads in to the domestic market with projects like the 'Adventures of Tenali Raman', ‘Geet Mahabharat’ the musical version of Mahabharata, Hanuman 2 feature film etc. The group has also diversified in to areas like animation training, Licensing and Merchandising and has also set sights on the gaming industry.
