ARYS Soft launches Indian arm in Kochi(Infopark)

The Indian arm of ARYS Software Consulting, part of the Belgium-based software and consultancy giant Processware, has been launched here in association with Calpine Technologies, a city-based software firm.

Mr Jijo G John, CEO, and Mr Mathews Jose, director operations, software and services business unit, Calpine Technologies, said that the company, ARYS, will launch its operations with 70 people.

The company has taken 3,000 sqft of space in the Infopark premises here. ARYS has already opened its offices in London, Brussels and Chicago.

The office inaugurated today here would focus on banking solutions, consultancy services and other projects. The company also offers project management services, training and consultancy on quality.

The company is planning to recruit another 70 people in the second phase. According to Mr Mathew Jose, "the first phase of recruitment is progressing and the company will start its operations soon".

Calpine Technologies is a company that employs 15 professionals. Set up last year, the company focuses on software development, software consultancy and web designing and web publishing.

Calpine is also the software development partner of Kaliaxis, Belgium, part of the Processware group.

The new JV will widen the client base of the company in the region and abroad, the company spokesmen said
