Introduction of E-Governance is the key to
making information technology (IT) relevant to ordinary
citizens. Governance is a culture, which changes how
citizens relate to governments as much as it changes
how citizens relate to each other.
Borne out of a conviction that service must come before
commerce, the Government of Kerala has embarked on several
citizen centric ventures to improve the quality and
access of service delivery. These initiatives, involving
the application of information technology to public
services, closely connect the Government, Citizens and
Business on a single platform.
